Gael Sellwood

Painter and Writer

Gael Sellwood is a creative, natural history artist and maker. An inveterate collector and curator she uses her collection of found natural history objects, alongside plants and flowers from the garden and hedgerow, in her artwork. She collaborates and educates so that her love of natural history art can be shared with others.

As well as being a skilled and experienced painter she is also a talented needlewoman of both hand and machine stitched textiles and knitwear. Colour and texture are woven through everything she does and makes.

Court Farm Gallery

We are an eclectic mix of creatives showing botanical and contemporary artwork, practical stoneware, handwoven textiles and hand painted lampshades. Housed in a wonderfully converted barn with views over three counties, we offer outdoor seating, refreshments and are 300m from an excellent pub. TC Evans – atmospheric botanical oil paintings and abstract landscapes. Amanda Graham – glorious handwoven textiles and working loom. Judy Thompson – vibrant paintings in mixed media
Louise Batt- joyous ‘oven to table’ stoneware. Helena Barrowcliff – exquisite hand painted lamp shades. We also take commissions.

David Hopper

Wood Carver

A wide range of wildlife carvings in a variety of different wood. Some later work featuring different techniques and incorporating coloured glass.

Pat Hopper

Hand built stoneware pieces, some suitable for the garden and a variety of thrown bowls and vases.

Sue Lucas

Loom Weaver

Sue uses a table loom to hand weave left over balls of wool into beautiful and individual scarfs in many colours.

Helena Cave-Penney

Painter & Engraver

Helena is inspired by the texture of fur and patterns of feathers to create wood engravings or paintings of animals and fowl. Prints of original wood engravings and cards of paintings will be for sale.
